Maralyn Chase, (D-Shoreline) (D) on January 25, 2010, requires the superintendent of public instruction, with existing resources, to develop a program of instruction for firearms accident prevention for students in kindergarten through grade twelve. The bill establishes guidelines for the program and establishes that in the 2012-13 school year, all common school districts may adopt the firearms accident prevention program.
