Summary: Introduced by Rep. Tim Probst, (D) (D) on January 19, 2010, authorizes county treasurers to collect property taxes, assessments and fees electronically. Administrative savings from collecting taxes online are to go into a special interest account to be used for maintenance on the new system. The state department of revenue is to help the county treasurers begin this new system, but no county may receive more than $100 thousand.
