I am more than happy to pay my fair share of taxes.
In my opinion, our taxes should be allocated to -
Fire and Police services – We need more money for cops and less for Bums and criminals. These are the Good Guys.
Prisons – People, look at what Sherrif Joe is doing in Arapaho County, AZ. Model prison. Minimize expenses here.
Military Forces – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and US Coast Guard.
Roads and Highways – Built by private contractors. It will come in under budget and on time, every time.
Education – Eliminate the WEA and give parents school choice. Competition is good, here.
We should have a flat tax system that allows us to allocate our tax money where “WE THE PEOPLE” see fit.
People, Reject all new taxes. Legislators, make budget cuts and cut taxes.
This is the way our founders intended it. If we truly followed the framework laid out by these great men,as opposed to the people we have ALLOWED to ruin our Great Country, I am assured that most all of us would be wealthy in one way or another. Those that couldn’t acheive, would have and do have every opportunity, in this once Great Country, to be wealthy.

Well said Mike. The less money our government has the less they can waste. I, with you, think that renters should see their tax bill. If nothing else, it would show them that they participate financially in government. It could also help them choose less taxing districts to live in which would create some competition and possible lower taxes.
Watch out for the “partial income tax” (what ever that is? partial? come on).

I believe that reducing property taxes to be a vital component in equalizing the tax burden to all tax payers in this state. That said I do not want this bill to be used as a tacit approval of increasing taxes as a whole. If renters in this state were to recieve a monthly or yearly statement of how much of their rent was taxes and how much their rent increase was directly related to property taxes we could make pregress on this front.
I support this bill in it’s stated purpose. But I do not trust my legislators as far as I can through them. I have been misled too many times already.
