Introduced by Rep. John Driscoll, (D) (D) on January 20, 2009, to expand the scope of a health care assistant. This bill would allow health care assistants to administer certain over-the-counter and prescription drugs. This act directs the secretary of health to compile a comprehensive list of drugs to be administered by a health care assistant and provides examples.
