Introduced by Rep. Jeff Morris, (D-Mt. Vernon) (D) on January 12, 2009, effective June 30, 2009, sales and use tax exemptions applied to certain machinery and equipment used directly in generating electricity from fuel cells, wind, sun or landfill gas will be extended to June 30, 2020.
